Our Responsibility
As parents ourselves to Ted and Charlie, we have been on the front line changing thousands of diapers between us. This deep understanding of what real parents are experiencing every change time has really helped us to identify the key pain points and concerns, we believed many other parents might be facing.
We made it our mission to create non-toxic, sustainable baby products that are gentle on your baby and the environment. Through extensive research, we created our range of responsibly and ethically sourced range of baby wipes and diapers!
Looking after our planet is one of our guiding principles, as are honesty and transparency. All of our sustainability and skin-loving claims about are backed by independent, world-renowned certifications.
Strict Safety & Eco Standards
Joonya is approved by the prestigious EU Ecolabel, which ensures high quality and compliance for the strict demands for the environment and human health.
The EU Ecolabel, also known as the EU Flower, is the official environmental label in Europe. Products with the EU Ecolabel meet stringent environmental requirements with regards to raw material, production, use, documentation and safety.
The Official Nordic Stamp of Quality
The official ecolabel for products made in Nordic countries. It’s one of the worlds toughest environmental certifications, and guarantees low environmental, climate and chemical impact.
With the goal of creating a sustainable society through sustainable consumerism, the Nordic Ecolabel evaluates the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle—from raw material selection, to the manufacturing process, straight through to the disposal of the product.
Protecting our forests
While parents take care of their babies skin, we’ll help them take care of our forests.
The fluff in our highly absorbent diaper core and our wipes fabric contains wood pulp from responsibly harvested forests – certified by FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council).
A strict chain of custody ensures the consumer receives genuinely certified materials, represented by the logo with a license number appearing on the product packaging.
Vegan and Animal Test Free
Most animals experience fear & suffering prior to slaughter. Branding, dehorning and castration are often performed with no pain relief.
Turning their skin into leather also uses large amounts of toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde and dyes, which are harmful to human health.
Our mats are 100% vegan leather (PU) & Animal Test-Free & Vegan Certified by PETA.
It started with a rash
As parents of two little boys that suffered from chemical induced diaper rash, we uncovered an industry where false labels and undesirable ingredients were the norm, and more than half of little ones experience uncomfortable rashes before the age of 12 months.
Unlike other diapers and wipes that harsh, contain toxic chemicals and hurt little bottoms - Joonya keeps baby's skin clean, dry and healthy - but never irritated.
To ensure our products are free from any traces of hidden nasties, we carry out regular independent chemical & dermatological testing. Through this process, we keep you and your family safe whilst proudly holding a number of certifications.

Allergy Certified
All our materials have been carefully examined by a toxicologist for allergens, impurities, carcinogens and endocrine disrupting chemicals. We successfully passed the allergy risk assessment.
